Christina S. Hernández-Bonnet, DMD

Dr. Christina S. Hernandez was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in General Science at the University of Puerto Rico. She continued her studies at the Iberoamerican University (UNIBE) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where she completed her dental degree. Dr. Hernandez received the award of the highest GPA in her class. In 2010 she graduated from the postdoctoral program of Endodontics at UNIBE. She then was accepted to the Advanced Placement Program at the University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine where she obtained her DMD with honors in 2013.

After attending dental school, she decided to further her education and clinical skills and went ahead and completed a year of General Practice Residency (GPR) at the Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. There, Dr. Hernandez was able to complete complex cases involving medically compromised and healthy patients, which gave her a well-rounded experience. After completing this residency in 2014, she decided to relocate to Miami and started practicing there.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her son and family. She is currently a member of the FDA and ADA. Dr. Hernandez strives to maintain a patient focused approach to treatment, optimizing each patient’s oral health based on his or her needs. She is also certified with Invisalign and provides Nitrous Oxide sedation.
